Barrel aged w/ cranberry, strawberry & guava.
Our next stop along the Towpath brings us to Lock 33, site of the Stone House. Amidst the natural beauty, stone walls still stand from this mid-1800’s structure at base of the Maryland Heights cliffside.
“The Stone House” is a wild fermented amber beer that rested on a berry and guava fusion until we achieved the perfect profile. A hazy sunset in a glass, the brilliant burnt-orange color harmonizes sight with the not-too-sweet aroma, and juicy tang of this multi-dimensional brew.
